Help Support Ean's Recovery from Sudden Accident

On Wednesday, my brother Ean was seriously injured in a workplace accident. He is currently hospitalized at the QEII in Halifax, N.S., with multiple injuries, including a traumatic skull fracture that has caused bleeding on the brain as well as a shoulder injury. Doctors are closely monitoring his condition and running extensive tests, and surgery may be necessary depending on how things progress. He will have to undergo extensive and potentially long-term physiotherapy treatment to help him gain strength back in his legs and arms. He will remain in the hospital under observation and testing for the time being.
Ean lives in Clementsvale, N.S., and works tirelessly to provide for his wife and their 1.5-year-old daughter. He is the main provider for their young family, and this sudden accident has not only been physically and emotionally devastating, but it has also placed a heavy financial strain on them. He is heartbroken that he can’t be home with his daughter during this time, and deeply worried about the pressure this puts on his wife, Abi.
We are raising funds to help cover:
- Their regular monthly bills and living expenses while Ean is unable to work.
- Travel, accommodation, and food costs for his wife as she stays near him in Halifax.
- Ongoing trips to Halifax for future appointments.
- Ongoing support during his long and uncertain road to recovery.
