Help Support Ean Greene's Memorial

Donation protected

Yesterday, December 29th, Ean unexpectedly lost his life. Ean is the first born son of Jayson and Stephanie Greene.  I've had the honor of knowing Jayson as a coworker for countless years now.  Jayson and Stephanie's love for their children is evident through both Jayson's work ethic and conversation everyday at work.  These young parents are the model in which all of us strive to become for our children.  Tragically Ean became ill and his health quickly deteriorated to the point in which he passed away in a very short period of time.

To say this is tragic is merely an understatement of the obvious. Even as a loving father to two young boys, I cannot even begin to imagine the pain and suffering that the Greene and Yacko families are experiencing. Intensifying this tragedy is not only the time of year, but the heavy burden of organizing and funding a memorial for their son. This is a burden that no parent should ever have to bear, and this is YOUR opportunity to make a difference. Might I suggest we all reflect on the past week and think of the blessings we all received. The pile of gifts stacked under the tree, the excess food expanding our waistlines, and the fullness of our hearts as we watch our children and loved ones enjoy this wonderful time. Now imagine this is all ripped from you in the following days.  Before you even have the chance to make a New Years Resolution, you are planning a memorial for your young son.  The thought of this is heart wrenching.  Unfortunately, this is not just a thought for Jayson and Stephanie, this is the unfair and tragic reality they are faced with as most of us comfortably plan out our goals for the next decade.

This is my plea to you to start this new decade off by making certain that this young family be only concerned with the tough choices they will be faced with in the next few days, and not the manner in which they will fund it with .  Of all the regrets that you will have over the next 1 to 10 years, do not let ignoring this tragedy be one of them. Please give freely to help fund Ean's memorial.
