Help support Dustin and Kayla Nelson's healing journey

I am making this GoFundMe on behalf of my sister, Kayla Nelson, and brother-in-law, Dustin Nelson. They were involved in a motorcycle accident while exploring the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.

Kayla's injuries were road rash, and by the grace of God, that is it.

Dustin sustained more serious injuries as he took the brunt of the accident to protect Kayla, including a broken nose, a laceration to the head, a broken collarbone, two broken ribs, a laceration to one of his lungs, and his eye had to be stitched up by a plastic surgeon.

I have decided only to post a picture of them and the bike from the wreck as the other images are too graphic. My brother-in-law is still in the hospital, and I wanted to respect his privacy.

Dustin will be out of work for at least 4-6 weeks.

Any funds they receive will go to their monthly bills, as they just bought their first home, and any medical expenses that insurance does not cover.
