Help support Maria Dolores Orozco beat leukemia
Dear familia + friends,
As many of you know our Mama, Dolores “Lola” Orozco is currently staying inpatient at Kaiser Permanente Roseville. Today marks 36 days in the hospital where she has received three aggressive rounds of chemotherapy to attack the Leukemia found in her blood while being cared and monitored receiving platelets and blood transfusions.
Given her past battle with breast cancer, March 2015 this was quite a shock. The chemotherapy is doing it’s job though by attacking the white blood cells but has caused a lot of fatigue. She will soon be transferred to Stanford to start the bone marrow transplant process which is where she will remain for at least 3 months.
Dolores’s true passion is being a hairstylist, 30 years creating beautiful memories and long lasting relationships with her clients. Doctors are recommending for her not to work for one year so she can have full recovery by not exposing her body to harmful chemicals and outside exposure especially with the high risk of Covid 19 virus that is present everywhere.
Any donations towards Dolores’s financial aid would be really appreciated with helping in distressing her worries during her time to heal and strengthen herself.
Your phone calls and text messages have really helped her spirits stay positive and our family thanks you all for your loving support and prayers ✨
Gracias ❤️
