Hi everyone — I’m writing this on behalf of my best friend and her family, who recently lost their beautiful Golden Retriever, Disick, so suddenly and unexpectedly. He was only 7 years old when he passed from Splenic Hemangiosarcoma, an aggressive and silent cancer that gave no warning.

Disick wasn’t just their dog — he was truly part of the family. Anyone who met him knew how special he was. He had the kindest eyes, the most loving heart, and a personality that could brighten even the hardest days. His loss has left an incredible void in their home and in the hearts of everyone who loved him.

I started this GoFundMe to help alleviate the unexpected medical and end-of-life costs that came with this heartbreaking situation. Losing a pet is hard enough without the added financial stress, and any support — no matter how small — would mean the world to them right now.
