Two months ago, a fall prompted Doug & Jessica Dilloian to seek emergency care for their beautiful 18-month-old daughter Kensley Rae. Thoughts of a possible fracture for their baby girl, and understandable worries, were undoubtedly within the mainstream. However, it was through all of the meticulous channels of medical discovery that led to the realization that their baby Kensley had been diagnosed and stricken with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia-"A.L.L."
Shock and disbelief replaced Doug and Jessica's thoughts of their regular daily routine as the unthinkable and unfathomable so cruelly entered their lives.
With bravery, steadfastness, and resolve, Kensley and the entire Dilloinan family have met challenge after challenge, including surgeries, endless testing, chemotherapeutics, and sleepless nights with all of its uncertainties in admirable style. If one considers Jessica's final trimester of pregnancy and Doug's daily racing operation, help from the community is now so ever needed. With this in mind, we kindly ask our racing community, family and friends to come together to help this amazing family during these difficult times.
For those who know Doug and Jessica well, it is clear that their work ethic and sense of decency are beyond reproach and second to none. With their incredible sense of pride and faith, they would never ask for anyone to help, so it would be a privilege to ease their burdens.
Donations will help defray the medical costs of hospitalizations, provide supportive care, and aid in the logistics of daily living.
