Help Support Dewayne Chandler's Final Expenses

With a heavy heart, I announce the passing of DeWayne Chandler, 56, of DePue, IL. Dewayne was involved in a semi-car accident on July 8th, 2024, on IL Route 71 near Cedar Point, IL. He passed away at the scene.

DeWayne was a man of many talents and had a heart of gold. He came from a large family and had a large family of his own. He left behind his many beloved children, stepchildren, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, who became family and miss him dearly.

DeWayne knew no stranger and could converse about anything, everything, and nothing and when he talked, plan on being there for a while. He had a passion for cars. He would buy them, fix them up, and sell or trade them.

DeWayne's sudden departure has left his family grappling with the emotional toll of how to go on and adapt to life without him. He did not have life insurance, leaving the financial burden on his family of preparing his funeral arrangements.

Every contribution will go toward his funeral expenses and significantly alleviate the financial strain on his family. DeWayne will be greatly missed! His funeral service will be at Angelus Funeral Home 8243 S Ashland Ave, Chicago, IL 60620, Friday, July 19th, at 11 AM.
