Help Support Dennis in His Fight Against Pancreatic Cancer

Our family has been turned upside down once again — this time by news no one ever wants to hear. On April 23, Dennis was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer that has metastasized to his liver.

The past five weeks have been a whirlwind of doctor appointments, lab work, biopsies, scans, and waiting. We still don’t have a final treatment plan in place, and yet the emotional, physical, and financial toll has already begun to weigh heavily. As anyone who has faced a cancer diagnosis knows, the bills add up quickly, and life doesn’t pause to let you catch your breath or make a game plan.

Dennis is the hardest-working man we know — whether it’s working the farm, helping others, or taking care of our family. He’s determined to keep going as much as he can, but the pain and fatigue are real and growing. The kids and I are doing everything we can to fill in the gaps — managing the farm, keeping up with our off-farm jobs, and trying to maintain some sense of normalcy through the chaos.

We’re not ones to ask for help lightly, but right now, we could really use some support — to cover mounting medical bills, lost income from time off (neither of our jobs offers paid sick leave or vacation), and everyday expenses that keep coming, even in the middle of crisis.
