On Friday 9 July, Debbie said goodbye to her best friend and daughter, Kayla McCoy. At age 29, Kayla, a dear friend to so many of us and mother to 11-year-old Aaliyah, became unexpectedly ill and lost her life.

While Kayla is now reunited with her big sister, Stephanie, who devastatingly also lost her life in 2004 in a tragic car accident, Debbie is now grieving the loss of both her only children and needs all the support we can offer her in this heartbreaking situation.

Funds raised will be contributed towards Kayla’s funeral costs as well as schooling costs for Aaliyah’s first year in high school next year! (Uniforms, iPad requirements etc.).

This beautiful family has endured so much already, with the loss of Stephanie in 2004 and Kayla’s life-long battle with Cystic Fibrosis, however they have always remained the perfect example of a strong, happy and loving family.

Let’s help ease the costly burden that Debbie will be feeling at such an unbearable time and show her our much needed support.
