Hi my name is Lisa Yacoviello and I am fundraising for Debbie Krauss.
I have known Debbie for almost 30 years. I walked into her nail salon, Nails R Us back in 1998 and we clicked instantly. I, like many of you consider her family.
At this time, we are reaching out for your help. Debbie needs our support.
Debbie recently received some devasting news. She was diagnosed with Stage IV Biliary cancer. Unfortunately, this has metastasized to her bones and has caused many other issues. She has mass formations of her pelvic bone and tailbone. These large lesions have caused her iliac wing to fracture and has resulted in extreme and constant pain.
As you can imagine, due to this situation, Debbie is no longer able to work leaving them with the loss of her income. Also, many of you may or may not be aware Debbie is also the advocate and caregiver for her husband Frank who faces challenges of his own. Her family is doing everything they can to not only fill that void but to take care of Debbie as well. She is unable to walk or stand on her own and is at home resting and working on her pain management. She has had radiation treatments on her pelvic wing and has also started chemotherapy for the primary cancer. Future radiation treatments will also be needed.
It is my hope that our donations will help to cover this financial loss and burden they are enduring. With your support we hope to help Debbie cover out of pocket expenses not covered by her medical insurance for treatments and medical needs, medications, medical bills, transportation, in-home care and living expenses. Our goal is to alleviate this worry for Debbie and let her focus on her battle.
Please consider donating to help Debbie and her family navigate this crisis. Every donation no matter the size will truly make a difference in helping them through the hardest time of their lives. If you are unable to give financially, we ask for you to please include Debbie, Frank and their family in your prayers.
Thank you for your support. We want to let Debbie and her family know that they are surrounded by community, friends and family who love and care for them.
UPDATE:
Debbie has closed her Nail Salon.
Unfortunately, her husband Frank has passed away. Without Frank, financially, it has caused an even larger hardship. Not to mention the grieving that she and her family are going through.
Please consider donating to her GoFundMe account and if you’re unable to financially help, your prayers are greatly appreciated.
