Help support David Harrison

About a week ago, my brother David was involved in a very tragic accident. David suffered a fall from a 4 story building after being electrocuted with 7000 volts of electricity, requiring him to be air lifted from Saint Mary’s Hopsital in West Palm Beach to the Burn Unit of Ryder Trauma Center in Miami. He has 2nd and 3rd degree burns on 80% of his body and a traumatic brain injury. Due to these injuries, he will not be conscious for weeks, if not months. During these last few days, I have heard the scariest outcomes I could ever imagine. David is fighting for his life and Tanner and I are doing everything in our power to help him and be by his side every step of the way.

At this moment, I am his medical proxy and with that comes the responsibility of making medical decisions for him until he is capable of making those decisions on his  own. Due to this responsibility, Tanner and I need to temporarily relocate to live closer to the hospital to be there for David. As many of you are aware, living expenses in South Florida are very high. We both have to take a leave of absence from work until things can reach a somewhat stable point for David, because truthfully I cannot do this alone. I am doing everything I can to stay strong, but I would be lying if I said this wasn’t causing me to fall apart. 

We cannot get out of our lease in Orlando, so we will have to carry those bills, David’s bills and try to support ourselves while being close to the hospital. However, since we have to take a leave from work we will be without pay for quite some time. We are doing everything we can, but at this point we need to reach out for assistance. Anything helps, even if it’s just a share. I love him so much and he is in for the fight for his life. I can only hope, that even though it will not be anytime soon, that I can take my brother home!
