Hi everyone!

On September 5th my dad (David Dixon) had a follow up apt with his doctor regarding stomach issues and pain. The doctor finally ordered him to have a CT scan that day. While the scan was taken the liver was partially shown in the image. On that scan they found suspicious areas on the liver which lead to them wanting another CT scan with more contrast and further testing. From Thursday (9/5) through the weekend he was in unbearable pain and finally decided to go to the ER on Monday September the 9th. They did that updated CT scan and found more areas that covered the abdomen and stated it was stage 4 cancer. Since this it’s been a long week for my family especially my parents. They thought going into the ER on that Monday they would be there for just a few days. It now has been a week and the pain he is in has still not be able to be controlled and they will not release him until they can have him with some relief and pain management. To say the least this has been beyond shocking. We are all coping with the news but have so many unanswered questions. This Wednesday September the 18th they will be meeting with the oncologist for the first time to learn more about his diagnoses and potential treatment options.

Since September 9th my mom the workaholic Lisa has not been able to work. The future is so unknown we don’t know how much she will be able to work. With not working and regular bills pilling up (not to even mention the medical bills) please consider helping in anyway you can!

If you are unable to give monetarily please send prayers to my dad for healing & pain relief! Along those prayers send some to my mom as while for wisdom and strength.

✨The goals & specific prayers we need right now are for him to be healed from the top of his head to the soles of his feet, inside and out of his body!

That he will return home

He willl be pain free

He will gain strength

All of his doctors will be filled with wisdom

And in the name of Jesus he will be HEALED✨

When you are praying please have total belief in our amazing GOD and these specific prayer request! There are so many testimonies of amazing things that happened in people lives when they just speak and believe in the word!! I want to add my dad to that list!

[ Update on my dad ]

Thursday he will start radiation. They decided to try this to help with his pain. They unfortunately have not been able to get it under control

So they are hoping with doing a few rounds of radiation, the goal is to shrink the tumor. By doing that they hope helps decrease the pressure and decrease the pain. There still is not another treatment plan as of now. They have been waiting on results to come back from his biopsy’s.

This has been such a tough season for us all but especially my mom & dad obviously very much so my dad.

Please continue you pray for total healing & pain relief!

It’s so hard seeing your dad in pain and knowing there is nothing you can do!
