Hello, my name is Ian Utz, and I am raising funds for my best friend whom I consider a brother. As you may know, David Ayala was in a severe car accident this past week. On the way home from work late on Wednesday night, December 11, he missed the turn into his apartment complex in Huntsville. He straightened a curb in front of the Iron Works gym, causing the car to roll. The car landed upside down and thank God he wasn't alone. His other friend was driving home separately behind him and was able to pull him out of the car with the help of another man at the scene. David was then life-flighted to the HCA Houston Healthcare Center in Conroe and placed into an ICU room, fighting for his life. He suffered multiple fractures across his skull, in two vertebrae in his neck, multiple fractures in both clavicles, and in his left elbow running up his arm, as well as a collapsed lung. He has since been placed in a new room out of ICU and will be leaving the hospital very soon to stay and recover with his parents and loved ones. I thank God everyday for keeping David with us.
If you know David, you know he is one of the most outgoing people you will ever meet whose presence and company lights up the room. His smile and positive energy is infectious and never fails to turn a bad day into something good. With the recent tragedy, it has left him unable to work for quite some time; and, with his current bills already piling up, his future medical bills will only add to that, causing times to get tough for his family and especially him. David has always been there for me, his friends and family, and anyone else who has ever reached out to him for help, disregarding the circumstances. It is the least I can do for him to kick off this fundraiser. If you, a friend or family member, or anyone you may know that would like to donate to David and his road to recovery it would be greatly appreciated. The goal for this fundraiser is to raise enough to cover his medical expenses and one semester of school so he can focus on himself to heal and recover physically and mentally from this calamity. Giving back to one who would do anything to give to others could never be repaid so I thank you for any donation and every prayer. I ask that you please share this link and thank you again. ❤️
