We're coming together to ask for your help in supporting our dear friend, Dave Millsap, through cancer treatment and recovery.

In November of 2024 -- just five months after losing their home and most of their belongings in a wildfire -- Dave was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma of the throat. Luckily, the prognosis is hopeful. He began treatment with his first surgery on December 30th and will start radiation and chemotherapy on January 13th.

Aside from the high cost of the treatment, Dave will be unable to work while he is undergoing recovering. All this while he and his partner, Carol, are in the early stages of trying rebuild the home they lost in the fire.

We only have an estimate of what the total cost of treatment will be, since he is in the early stages, but we wanted to set up this fundraiser early to help take as much stress and worry off of his plate as possible. Any funds raised here will go directly to Dave to help cover medical expenses, as well as food, gas, and bills so that he can focus on what is most important: his health and well-being.
