Help Support Dava and her brain surgery recovery!

Hello, my name is Heather and I am one of Brittany and Brian's best friends. Their daughter, Dava, is only 8 years old and is in the hospital with a brain tumor. They are having surgery done at the best hospital, and we are all praying for her speedy recovery.

With that being said, brain surgery is definitely not cheap, and even with insurance, this beautiful family should not have to worry about the cost of it and the cost of Dava's aftercare. ***Update***

Dava had a 8 hour surgery on Tuesday they were able to remove most of the tumor. She did amazing and they are very positive about her recovery. She got the ventilator removed on Friday and is able to talk a little. Her doctor wants to test her swallowing to make sure the tumor did not effect that part since it was in the Cerebellum part of her brain. She will be in the hospital for at least 2 weeks then hopefully can come home.

A little sad news today Miss. Dava has to go back on the ventilator and she will be sedated for a bit. This is 100% for the best though ❤️

*update 1/23 ***

I was able to talk tonnage today on FaceTime and even though she has a ventilator tube she is still able to use her little white board to respond. She seemed to be in good spirits and is so anxious to come home. The MRI showed a little swelling still but everything looks good. She still has a long road to recovery but taking it day by day! Thanks again to all that have supported and keeping her and the family in your prayers.
