As many of you now know, Danielle has been working really hard to ensure she and her family are happy and healthy. Many also know that sometimes life can pass down some challenges when least expected.
Danielle’s son, Ryerson Buck age 7, has been diagnosed with a
dysembryoplastic neuroepithelial brain tumour.
Unfortunately, this tumour is very rare and only affects 0.6% of children. That being said, the tumour does not appear to be cancerous.
The tumour will be removed through surgery at BC Children’s Hospital in Vancouver on February 28.
This GoFundMe is to help the family with costs incurred during the trip to Vancouver and the potentially problematic recovery ahead of Ryerson.
Please take a moment to reflect on the fact that sometimes life has a way of changing direction and that with any luck most will sail through life unaffected by these changes. Also remember, that it could easily be one of us next and that as difficult as it can be to give at times, it’s even more difficult to ask for help.
Please take a moment to donate and help Ryerson on his journey at the young age of 7.
