Hi, my name is Allira and I am fundraising to help support Daneyl through her recovery from flood damage.

Due to major flood damage which happened in the early hours of the morning on 10th March 2025, Daneyl's small business was destroyed which has found her unexpectedly without an income to help support and provide for her family.

Funds raised will help her support her 2 children, pay rent, buy groceries, any medical cost and pay bills during this time without an income whilst she is rebuilding her business after it was destroyed by floods. Sadly she has been informed it will be several months until she can reopen her business, and I am hoping we as a community can rally together to support during this incredibly difficult period.

It's not often that an individual who is heavily involved in community needs support. It breaks my heart to say Daneyl is now in this position and as a community we can share the love the way she has done to us. Not only has it affected her, the flow on effect it will have in our community is really sad.

About Daneyl:

Daneyl is a single mum of two beautiful children and also an owner of a local small business (which has been destroyed). She truly is a beautiful woman inside and out and loves to support her community.

Daneyl fulfilled a dream to open a cooking school, she went back to Uni at 32 and started her Bachelor of Nutrition studying while parenting her two kids. It was a long and often difficult few years with some major life challenges thrown in but she did it!

Daneyl has been providing NDIS individuals the opportunity to build core life skills and independent living skills as part of the interaction with her work. She knows that being able to cook a meal for yourself can leave a strong feeling of independence, especially for those relying on people and support for other aspects of their lives.

Daneyl is also a mentor to homeschool children who she shares her knowledge and gives the kids a head start in life with learning how to cook healthy and nutritionally balanced meals. The homeschool kids absolutely love her and what she teaches them.

Daneyl is an active community member and has been involved in many local community events from being a supporter and caterer to a presenter. She is a huge advocate for supporting her local community, sourcing locally grown produce and loves to see the joy it brings to everyone. She encourages everyone to believe it’s never too late to start something new, and to give it a go.

Its heart breaking to see her dream washed away.
