Dear Friends, Family, and Community,

I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for help for our son, Damon.

This past Saturday, Damon was in a serious motorcycle accident and suffered a broken femur. He underwent surgery where they placed a rod to stabilize his leg. They are evaluating if there is any damage to his hip/pelvis and possibly his lower lumbar spine. He is now beginning a long road to recovery. As you can imagine, the pain and physical challenges are overwhelming — but what’s weighing just as heavily is the uncertainty that lies ahead for his family.

Damon is the sole provider for his family. He works hard every day to support his girlfriend and their two beautiful little girls, who are the light of his life. With this injury, he won’t be able to return to work for quite some time. As medical bills start to add up and the reality of lost income sets in, they’re facing some incredibly difficult financial days ahead.

I know Damon would never ask for help himself — he’s strong, proud, and has always done whatever it takes to care for those he loves. But right now, he needs our help. We’re asking for anything you can give to help cover everyday expenses — rent, groceries, bills — so Damon can focus on healing without the constant stress of how he’s going to support his family during this time.
