Hello, my name is Janna and I’m fundraising on behalf of our dear friends. What was meant to be a joyful family vacation in Mexico has turned into a heartbreaking and unimaginable challenge for Dallas Heintz, his partner Melissa, and their children Kale, Alayna, and Kelsey.

Dallas was unexpectedly admitted to the ICU with a very serious illness. He is now on life support and, in his condition, it is not safe for him to travel home. His loved ones are by his side in Mexico, facing every family’s worst nightmare far away from the comfort and support of home.

Dallas is the kind of person who would do anything for anyone. Now, it is our turn to show up for him and his family.

While insurance is helping with some of the medical expenses, many other costs remain: such as living expenses while they are in Mexico, unexpected travel needs, and the long road to recovery we are all praying for when they can finally come home.
