Help Support Daisy’s Medical Recovery
Donation protected
To know Chelsea is to know she is an animal lover. At any given time her and Evan’s home will enviably have at least one foster animal. Chelsea and Evan fell in love with Daisy and she became their first foster fail, making her the luckiest kitty in Chicago to join their family. Shortly after adopting Daisy, her back legs became wobbly and she was showing signs of paralysis. After multiple tests from various clinics, it is thought Daisy has Feline infectious peritonitis (FIP). Although this is a tough to diagnosis, and we, nor the vets, can be 100% sure, this is Daisy and the Mullen-Dumatorf’s only lifeline for her. The only 100% thing we know is if Chelsea doesn’t try something, it will mean certain mortality for Daisy. Prognosis is also bleak due to a lack of FDA-approved treatments.
Chelsea dug through her cat rescue contacts and found a solution with a 77-90% success rate. The treatment is a 85 day course of action, hopefully seeing signs of improvement in as little as 2 days. As they navigate this costly and challenging road to recovery for Daisy, the Mullen-Dumatorf family is facing mounting medical bills. As Chelsea has poured countless time, and money, into rescuing and saving dozens of animals, Emily and I want to now help her. All funds raised will directly contribute to Daisy's life-saving treatment, with any surplus being donated to a trusted rescue organization.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all who can contribute to Daisy's recovery journey. Updates on her progress and rehabilitation will be shared on this page as we work towards giving Daisy the second chance she deserves. Thank you to all who are able to donate!
