Help Support Curtis’ Recovery

On Sunday the 8th of June, Curtis alongside some of his friends attended a car meet where shortly before 9am, a dark BMW was exiting a car meet at Beattie Road and Waterway Drive when it went out of control and struck him and friends who were sitting on a barrier. The police report can be viewed on mypolice.qld.gov.au and 9 news has made a story about it. Curtis is a bright smart kid whose life has been changed forever by one single mistake made by a reckless driver. He has experienced severe trauma to his leg which requires multiple surgeries and him to be in the hospital and in and out of rehabilitation for months. His story is so important and so is this money we are helping fundraise for Curtis and his family to cover at least some of the medical bills coming their way. As someone who has known Curtis for only a few years, I can say that he is so resilient and has an amazing future ahead of him. He is a great friend who is always there for you. Let’s all be there for him and his family.
