"This is one of the hardest posts I’ve ever had to write, but I need to be honest with y’all.

Our deeply beloved game shop, Court of Gamers, is in a very critical position.

We need to raise $10,000–$15,000 within the next week to keep our doors open.

If we cannot reach that goal, we will have to close.

There isn’t a dramatic story behind this. No scandal. No big explosion. Just the quiet reality of small, local business right now…rising costs, slower months, and margins that leave no room to breathe.

I built Court of Gamers to be more than a store. I built it to be a home. A place where you could sit down at a table and feel total happiness and safety.

A place where queer joy is accepted and is the norm.

Where first-time players are welcomed and

Where late-night campaigns turn into deep friendships.

Where community and love matters more than profit.

However, these types of community spaces only survive if the community shows up for them.

So here’s me, showing up honestly:

Over the next week, we are running the largest sales we’ve ever done. Games, dice, accessories, things I never thought I would sell, everything we can reasonably discount while still fighting to survive.

If Court of Gamers has ever meant something to you, even once, now is the time.
