Hi, my name is Ian (skinny) Evans, and October 5th i, along with three freinds will be running ‍♂️ the chester Marathon to raise much needed funds for corwen juniors fc.

The club over the last 10 years has been successfully growing, and now it has over 200 children playing at the club.

Due to it's incredible success it's now facing a huge financial pressure, last year alone it cost the club £23,500 to run for the season , so Eilir Edwards (squizz) James Jones (jimmy) Scotty Evans and I, have decided to run on behalf of the juniors, to help with their financial costs.

Jimmy, and squizz are incredible runners ‍♂️, but for scotty and I, this is a huge challenge.

I can honestly say, this is the toughest challenge I've ever been involved with.

Marathon training has genuinely broken me.

My body has taken a hammering, with my Ankles, knees and back all in pieces, but we are all determined to get this done for all them kids ⚽️

Corwen has a rich history in providing a safe environment for children to come and play their football ⚽️, and we are determined to keep this going.

Costs for the upcoming 25/26 season are set to increase, so please if anyone out there is in a position to help out with a kind donation, I know everyone at the club would be extremely grateful, no matter how big or small.
