Life is a journey. It does not come with road maps but instead with mothers. They are here to teach, guide, nurture, and be that crutch. As you may or may not know, Coral unexpectedly lost her mother, Dr. Carla Jennifer Thornton, on January 21, 2021. Carla was a mother, daughter, proud Veteran, Councilwoman, educator, and a beacon in her community.
As you can imagine, it has been a difficult time for now 12-year-old Coral and her family. The purpose of this trust is to lend your support with her future endeavors and education as she will soon be entering High School, with dreams of college and eventually embarking on her own life's journey.
Coral's grandparents will serve as trustees and ensure that the money provided will be used for meaningful support throughout her teenage years as she enters adulthood.
