Help support Coral and her family during recovery
Donation protected
Our sweet Coral had a very tragic and sudden accident this past weekend in which she fell 6 stories from her condo balcony in Hilo. She has a long history of sleepwalking, and as bizarre as it sounds all signs point to her sleepwalking in the middle of the night.
She was flown to Oahu and is currently at Queens Medical Center in critical condition. She has many broken bones but also brain swelling, which has prevented her from being able to have surgery. She has had to have a medical induced coma to reduce swelling and is surrounded by her family day and night.
To know Coral is to love her. She is truly such a kind soul, a supportive big sister, a daughter to be so proud of and a loving friend in our community. She is really at the beginning of her adult life with so much potential. She is attending UH Hilo where she works and has an internship planned in San Francisco this Summer. She is such a bright light in our world and is surrounded by a community that loves her.
Please keep her in your prayers and let's all envision a full recovery. I keep imagining her first day paddling out on the water, reunited with her passion for surfing and a new chapter in her life.
Coral's recovery is likely to be a long one, any donations are greatly appreciated and will help support her and her family during this journey of healing.
