Help Support Coleman's Surgical Recovery

We are setting up this GoFundMe to help support my mom Jessica and my stepdad Coleman in this period of recovery. Coleman suffered from macular retina detachment in his good eye, requiring emergency surgery. While the surgery went well, Coleman is currently blind and it may take a while to determine if he will regain his sight. He will be traveling back and forth for medical care and he cannot return to work for over a month without compensation.

On top of recovery and caregiving efforts, their car is currently out of commission and they are relying on friends and family for transportation.

Money was already extremely tight before this emergency happened. Given the level of caretaking required, Jessica is unable to make it out to organizing jobs for her small business so they are suffering the loss of that income as well.
