Hi, my name's Hayley. I'm currently homeless and trying to get back on my feet. I'm 20. I've had my dog, Cocoa, since 2020. She was a rescue who used to be abused and only feels safe with me. She's been my rock and the main thing keeping me going through this.

Since I've fallen on hard times and can't even afford to live, I also can't afford vet care either. Cocoa was recently diagnosed with IVDD (Intervertebral Disc Disease). She won't let a groomer or vet touch her to help her. It's getting hard for her to go to the bathroom without it getting stuck on her fur. She'd need to be put under anesthesia to be shaved. Her teeth are also rotting and her vaccines aren't up to date.

I've reached out to organizations and non-profits to help, but since I'm homeless and from a different state without a mailing address or a county, they can't help. If you can't donate, that's okay.
