My name is Crystal and I am making this for my mom. On Tuesday, July 15th, 2025, she had a stroke. She was diagnosed with aphasia. Aphasia, a language disorder that affects the ability to communicate, is frequently caused by a stroke affecting the left side of the brain, which is typically the dominant hemisphere for language. Strokes can disrupt speech and comprehension and can also cause weakness or paralysis on the right side of the body.

With all of that being said, she is going to need months of speech, physical, and occupational therapy. She cannot work during this time. All of the physical and financial responsibility falls on us three kids. We are asking for any help.

My mom is the most amazing and independent woman, and this is so hard for her. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
