This morning, our dear friend and loved one, Christy Franklin, was involved in a very serious car accident. She was first transported to the local emergency room and then airlifted to Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem, where she is now facing emergency surgery.

Christy’s injuries are severe, and her road to recovery will be long. While we are grateful she is still with us, doctors have already shared that she will be out of work for quite some time. This sudden tragedy has left her family facing not only emotional challenges but also overwhelming financial burdens.

Her loved ones are staying by her side at the hospital, but the costs of travel, food, lodging, and missed work are already adding up. On top of that, Christy will need continued medical care and support once she begins her recovery journey.
