My name is Omarion Butts, and I am the son of Christy Butts.

In February of this year, my mother was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. On August 26th, 2025, she successfully underwent a thyroidectomy. While we are incredibly grateful that the procedure was a success, the recovery process has brought significant financial strain.

The costs of surgery, follow-up appointments, copays, and medications are overwhelming. In addition, being out of work until November means she must balance these medical expenses alongside her regular bills, which has made this time especially challenging.

To help ease this burden, we are seeking $3,000 in support. These funds will go directly toward covering her medical expenses and essential needs during recovery, allowing her to focus on healing without the added stress of financial hardship.
