Christopher Christian was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma in August of 2016. Christopher was then started on a 6 month chemo therapy that he completed and then followed that with about a month of every day radiation. A PET scan was then done to review how the treatments of chemo were doing. It showed progress but pain continued in his hips and legs where the Lymphoma had been. After new testing and a biopsy in his neck was done Christopher was told the Lymphoma had returned. Christopher was then referred to the University of Nebraska Medical Center where they started a different and stronger chemo therapy method that would lead up to a month long stay in Omaha for a bone marrow stem cell transplant. After two rounds of the new chemo things were progressing and the doctors were ready to start the transplant procedure. Unfortunately this last week when Christopher and his family were settled in Omaha getting ready to start the transplant process a golfball size mass was found in his groin area, and was immediately removed. Christopher is currently waiting for the biopsy results and what steps will come next. Throughout this past year Christopher has not been able to work and has been placed on disability and the expenses have started to add up from the travel expenses to Omaha and back the cost of hotel stays and co pays and multiple Doctors bills continue to roll in. Christopher and his family are looking for some help at this time to get through this tough time and help take some of the stress of figuring out how things are going to be covered or taken care of. We greatly appreciate everyone's prayers and everything you guys have done so far so Thank You Very Much. Christopher and his family will continue to try and keep everyone Updated on his quest towards getting better!
