A Veteran lifeguard, Silver Strand Local, loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Son, Brother and friend. Chris has been diagnosed with prostate cancer and is now in the fight of his life, inspiring us all with his courage.

The treatment he needs is costly, but his strength and resilience are a shining example to us all. As anyone who knows him can attest, he's never been one to ask for help, but now we're asking our friends and family to step in and support him.

Chris' form of cancer is aggressive, but his determination is even stronger. He plans to continue working during the 5 1/2 weeks of radiation, a true testament to his character.

Chris and his wife Thea have been through unimaginable challenges these past few months, but their love and commitment to each other are an inspiration to us all. On top of it all, Thea lost her job due to family matters that they wish to keep private, but their faith and hope are unwavering.
