Cheri’s Go Fund Me - $20,000 Our dear friend Cheri Williams needs our help. She was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor. It is non-cancerous and has been called “the best brain tumor to have” because it is operable and only impacts hearing, which she has lost some of, and balance, a little klutzy. Her surgical team is confident in evicting “Fred” with little impact to Cheri overall. The financial impact to allow Cheri to properly heal is where you come in… Cheri’s surgery is July 15 & she will be in the hospital for 2-3 days, then will come home to recover. She has been advised by the doctors that she will not be able to work for six weeks. Since Cheri bravely became an entrepreneur, when she’s not working, she makes no money. And, since building a business is a process, she spent much of her savings. She’s also now a single mom. Update from Cheri: Hey y’all. I’m blown away by your kindness & generosity. Most days, life feels “normal” (whatever that is), but the pressure to “be ready” for brain surgery is real. I’m grateful to my friend Ali for reminding me that I don’t have to get my life in perfect order before this surgery. Regardless of the fears that enter sometimes, I remain at peace that I live my life fully and completely every day. I always have. And Good Lord willin’ and the creek don’t rise, (as we say in the South), I pray I continue to after this is behind me. So much love to y’all!!!
