Dear Friends and Family,
I am reaching out to you today to ask for your help and support for my cousin, Cesar Lopez, who has been battling a serious health crisis and now sees the light at the end of the tunnel. Cesar has always been there for others in their time of need, and now it’s our turn to be there for him.
Cesar’s Health Struggles
Recently, Cesar developed a severe staph infection and cellulitis, which we believe may have been caused by a spider bite. Due to his ongoing health conditions, including diabetes and a previous stroke, the infection spread rapidly from his knee to most of his leg. The pain was unbearable, and he was unable to move for weeks.
Cesar already had a bad leg due to his previous stroke, and now this infection has severely affected his good leg as well. Despite his best efforts to manage the infection with heavy antibiotics, it became clear that surgery was necessary to remove the infected tissue. Cesar has been hospitalized for three weeks now, enduring countless tests and procedures. Unfortunately, during his hospital stay, he suffered an acute stroke, adding to his already immense challenges.
We are hoping that this week he will be discharged from the hospital to continue his recovery at home.
The Financial Burden
The stress and toll this has taken on Cesar and his family are unimaginable. Cesar has not been able to work during this time, and the medical bills are piling up. His inability to pay his usual bills, combined with the cost of his medical care, has created a financial burden that he cannot bear alone.
