Dear Family & Friends,

On January 20th, 2025 our world was turned upside down when we received the devastating news that our Mother, Cathy, has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer. The cancer has spread extensively to her spine, numerous bones throughout her body, and her lymph nodes. In addition, she is also battling fluid build-up in her lungs, making it incredibly difficult for her to breathe. Each breath she takes is a struggle, and every day is a new challenge in this relentless fight. Without treatment, her Oncologist has given a prognosis of 5 months. She is doing Chemotherapy, Radiation as well as Immunotherapy to fight this for the best possible outcome. We are praying for a miracle.

Our mom has always been the heart of our family, selflessly giving her love, care, and strength to everyone around her. Whether it's providing a listening ear, supporting us in our toughest moments, or simply showing up with a warm smile, she has been a constant source of light in our lives. Now, she needs our love and support more than ever.

As you can imagine, this diagnosis has shattered our family. We are doing everything we can to support her, but the road ahead is daunting, emotionally and financially. Due to the severity of her condition, my mom is no longer able to work, and our Father, Tom, has had to miss work to be by her side, providing the care and support she needs every single day. I have set up this GoFundMe to assist with the costs of her medical treatments, therapies, medications, travel to and from appointments, missed work and additional support needed to make sure she is comfortable and well taken care of during this journey.
