Hi everyone,
As many of you know Cassi has been struggling with ear issues for quite some time. I’m reaching out for help as she prepares for her upcoming ear surgery. A surgery that’s essential for restoring her hearing and preventing further complications.
Cassi will be undergoing a medial graft tympanoplasty, a delicate procedure that involves repairing the eardrum using tissue from her own body along with a skin graft. The surgery will also include a canalplasty to open and reshape the ear canal, and a cartilage graft if needed to support the repair.
To improve hearing, the surgeon will also perform an ossicular chain reconstruction, rebuilding the tiny bones in the middle ear. Additionally, a subannular tube will be placed in the left ear to allow for long-term ventilation and prevent future infections or fluid buildup.
This is a complex and costly procedure, and while insurance covers some parts, she is facing significant out-of-pocket expenses—including surgical fees, follow-up care, hotel stays, and travel for specialized treatment in Boston.
If you’re able to contribute, the family would be deeply grateful. Every little bit helps, and even just sharing this page can make a HUGE difference.
Thank you so much for your support—it truly means the world to us.
With gratitude,
Tracey
