Help Support Casey Fetterhoff’s Recovery and Rehabilitation

On July 12, Casey Fetterhoff, a lifelong Homer local, community volunteer, and owner of Fetterhoff Services, was involved in an accident and suffered devastating injuries including an open compound fracture to his leg, along with additional fractures to his spine and ribs. The injuries required emergency surgery and have left him unable to work or manage his excavation business during a long and painful recovery process.

Casey is known throughout Homer not only for his excavation work and dedication to his small business, but for his deep commitment to service, both at home and abroad. He has a strong passion for humanitarian work and has volunteered extensively in disaster and conflict zones, using his skills and time to help support communities in crisis. Whether supporting emergency recovery efforts or lending a hand on local projects here in Alaska, Casey has always shown up where help is needed.

Now, he needs the community’s support. With mounting medical expenses, ongoing physical therapy, and the loss of income from being unable to work, the financial burden of recovery is substantial. Thankfully his top worker Brad, has stepped up admirably to keep operations running where possible, but the absence of Casey’s labor and leadership is deeply felt. Physical therapy alone will be a months-long process, and the recovery from the surgery and other injuries further complicates his return to work.

This fundraiser will help cover physical therapy and recovery expenses, stabilize the business during Casey’s absence, and ensure that Fetterhoff Services can continue serving the Homer area in the future. Casey has given his time and energy to help others locally and globally, and now it’s our turn to support him.
