Help Support , Carmen, in Her Fight Against Goodpasture Syndrome

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters,

I’m reaching out today on behalf of my dear friend, Carmen, who is currently facing one of the most difficult battles of her life. Recently, she was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease called Goodpasture Syndrome—a serious condition in which the body’s immune system mistakenly attacks the lungs and kidneys. This illness can progress quickly and, without aggressive treatment, can become life-threatening.

Carmen was hospitalized for nearly a month due to complications from the disease and has since been undergoing intensive treatment and will have to continue for a year, including immunosuppressive therapy and frequent medical visits. These treatments, while absolutely necessary to save her life, have taken a toll not only on her body but on her ability to work and support herself financially.

Because of her condition, she has had to step away from her job to focus entirely on healing. Unfortunately, this has left her with no income to cover essential living expenses like rent, utilities, and groceries—let alone the mounting medical bills and ongoing treatment costs that continue to grow each day.
