Read about his life:
Money donated to this GoFundMe will help cover after-life expenses and the many medical bills from his last few months with us.
Below are some objects that we decided as a family to go with him, so he can always be with some of his favorite things. Included are tackles and a fishing pole as he was a well known fisherman, photographs with him and his family, patches and brochures from his many achievements, and more. Finally my grandma kissed two photos of them together with red lipstick so he'll always have a kiss from his high school sweetheart.
August 8, Casey was transferred to Indianapolis due to problems with his new kidney. He's been in the hospital since then. Due to COVID, Alice was unable to stay at the hospital and has had to stay in a hotel for almost a month. Last week, we found out that Casey has stage 4 cancer. They are working on a plan to get him back to Michigan (hopefully soon). Alice is the only one allowed to visit him due to covid rules, so they are hoping to get home as soon as possible, so loved ones can see Casey and so he can spend time at home. To get him home, they are going to need a three hour ambulance ride back to Michigan. Once home, Casey is going to need 24 hour in-home care. All of these hotel and medical
are going to add up. Casey and Alice have supported so many people over the years and it's now time for all of us to take care of them.
