**Update**

Caelen had surgery Mon June 9th to stabilize his back injury. The length of his stay in the Spinal ICU at VGH will be determined by the healing of the surgery. He will remain at VGH for several weeks while healing from the accident & surgery. Once ready, he will be transferred to GF Strong for rehab for several months but will require the use of a wheelchair moving forward. There is a long road ahead for Caelen to adjust to his new life. Glenda, Caelen and family want to thank everyone for their kind messages, their generosity and the love and support they have received so far. Words cannot express the emotions surrounding this.

Our dear friend Glenda’s son, 28 year old Caelen holling, was involved in a devastating motorcycle accident, Sunday June 8th on the highway between Ashcroft and Logan lake. He was flown to Vancouver General Hospital, where he has already undergone multiple surgeries, he will more than definitely be there for at least a few weeks. He is suffering major spinal injuries amongst other things and will likely be going to GF strong rehabilitation facility for the next several months.

This will be a long and difficult road to recovery, and not only for Caelen but his lovely family as well.

We are reaching out on behalf of Glenda to help her out at this difficult time with the cost of living expenses as the family will be staying close by while Caelen is in Vancouver as home is Kamloops B.C.

We are asking our community, friends and families for your support and compassion.
