Hello, my name is Gaby and the furry old man you see is my partner, and I's beloved shih tzu. Buster will reach the ripe age of 12 come this November. Despite his age, my partner Tazz and I are told over and over again how he acts like a puppy. Buster is a kind and sweet soul who loves all he meets, including his two younger kitty brothers. Even to this day, he acts with love and joy in his heart.

In recent days, Buster has been suffering a fractured jaw on both sides. Due to his age and dental disease, his bones became fragile, and his jaw gave out. Despite this and some noticeable discomfort, Buster still wakes every day with a wagging tail and excitement in his eyes. He hasn't given up so we refuse to give up on him.

Currently, he is on some pain meds and antibodies, but this is only a temporary solution. After a visit to urgent care, we were quoted $5,000 - $7,000 for his surgeries. We have upcoming appointments with his vet, hoping for a more financially feasible quote on his procedures, but we are preparing for the worst. In the meantime, we are doing all we can to raise and save as much money as possible to get his surgery ASAP so he can continue living comfortably.

Both Tazz and I are currently using our artistic passions to raise some more money. We are working art and pop culture conventions when possible, as well as opening commissions for those that would like to help and gain some personalized artwork.
