Help support Brooklyn’s recovery journey ❤️
Donation protected
As many of you may or may not know, our friends Chris and Laura Weedman’s daughter, Brooklyn, was hit by a car while on her bike back in mid-February. She was taken to Trauma and suffered from skull fracturing, bleeding, and swelling. She was on life support for several weeks. After many tests and waking up, they determined it was safe for her to be weaned off machines and medicines, and Brooklyn began her fight to stay alive.
She was moved to a local rehab where she began to heal. She has started moving her arms and legs, and making eye contact. As of today, she is being moved to Brooks Rehab in Jacksonville, FL for more vigorous therapy. Her father, Chris, has left his job to be there every single day to assist and learn her therapy to continue her healing journey when she comes home in 3 weeks. He plans on staying home and helping her heal until they find her new normal.
Please consider donating to Brooklyn’s recovery. From her past medical bills, recovery devices and tools, travel to and from the hospital and doctor appointments, and living costs while Chris is out of work. Anything helps. No donation is too small. Your support is AMAZING and greatly appreciated.
Please continue to pray for Brooklyn, and for her to regain strength to walk and talk again and to continue healing. Pray for her family while they navigate their lives to best take care of Brooklyn.
