Our SAA Cheer Commissioner, Val, and her husband, Abel, have always given their all to the Schaumburg Athletic Association. Now it’s our turn to support them.

During a recent cheer competition, their daughter Brooklyn suffered a serious injury, breaking both of her arms. She has already undergone surgery and now faces a long road of therapy and recovery. With Brooklyn needing full-time care at home, Val will be taking time off work to support her, adding to the financial strain their family is facing.

Medical bills are overwhelming, and with the holiday season quickly approaching, the burden is even heavier. The Gonzalez family has tirelessly supported our athletes, our kids, and our community—let’s come together to lift them up during this difficult time.
