Our mother, Brooke Whitney, is one of the most selfless and loving people you could ever meet. She has a kind heart and puts everyone first, no matter what challenges she is facing herself. She is a devoted mother of two and a proud grandmother of four, whose life has been defined by her endless generosity and care for others. Her family means everything to her. Despite facing incredible health challenges, she has never lost her kind heart or her fighting spirit.

This will be her third kidney transplant, after a lifetime of health battles that began when she was young. For the past six months, she has been enduring dialysis treatments 12+ hours a week—on top of working full time and running her family moving company. Through it all, she continues to put her family first and pour her love into everything she does.

Finding a match was no easy feat due to her previous surgeries and antibodies. We cannot thank Danielle Long enough for her incredible selflessness in donating and saving our mother’s life. Her gift has given our family hope and the chance for more time together.

Unfortunately, the financial burden of her medical care has become overwhelming. Between dialysis, ongoing doctors’ appointments, and the upcoming hospital stay for her transplant, the medical bills are piling up.

We are asking for support to help relieve some of this burden so she can focus fully on healing and recovery. Most of all, she looks forward to enjoying more moments with her children and watching her grandchildren grow.
