His 5 hour surgery was successful!

However he is in a lot of pain. The medical team has ordered a CT scan and we are awaiting his results.

Hi, my name is Kelsey Bryan — I’m Brody’s aunt, and I’m organizing this fundraiser on behalf of our family to support him through an incredibly challenging time.

On July 5th, Brody was involved in a serious racing accident at Skagit Speedway in Washington State. During the event, he flipped his car and was rushed to Skagit Valley Hospital, where doctors confirmed a fractured back. He has since been transferred to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, where he is undergoing spinal fusion surgery to repair the damage.

Brody has a long road of recovery ahead — physically, mentally, and emotionally. While his strength and determination are unmatched, the reality is that his healing journey will require significant time, care, and support.

Brody and his family are from Canada, and the unexpected travel, accommodation, and living costs in the U.S. are substantial. This GoFundMe is being created to help alleviate the financial burden so his family can remain by his side during his recovery. Funds raised will go directly toward:

    •    Travel and accommodation for his family in Washington

    •    Medical-related expenses not covered by insurance

    •    Long-term rehabilitation and recovery support
