Hi! My name is Bri Kemp :) I am fundraising for a cause super close to my heart. I am going on a 6 month missionary endeavor and it is going to be the experience of a lifetime for me and so many others. I am doing this through a wonderful organization called YWAM, which stands for Youth for a Mission. I will spend 3 months living on the YWAM Kona base in Hawaii, learning how to be a missionary and how to grow my relationship with Christ and so much more. After that, I will spend 3 months somewhere in the nations spreading the word and doing other things for the community such as helping build houses and schools and just helping people in general. Did you know that there are currently 2.2 billion people that will live and die without ever hearing about Christ, unless someone goes and tell them, and I want to do just that. Doing a DTS (discipleship training school) has been put on my heart by the Lord for almost 4 years now and I really feel that I have to listen and give God my 100%. This money is going to be used to pay for the program itself and anything I may need while away from home in Kona and overseas. Any leftovers when I’m done I will be donating to other missionarys, just to pass the love and support forward.
