Help Support Brian’s Stroke Recovery
Last Friday my dad suffered a severe
hemorrhagic stroke. He has massive bleeding
and swelling on the left side of his brain. There
was a very slight chance that he would survive,
but he did! He pulled through and will now be
able to continue making jokes, being a dad, and meet his granddaughter that will be born this
year.
Though we’re grateful for his progress so far, a
long road lies ahead. He will need to go through a recovery that includes months to years of
rehabilitation to hopefully regain his speech and reverse the paralysis on his right side. There will be a large cavity where the bleeding happened
in the brain that must regrow and rewire itself
to hopefully gain back function.
He will need lots of support and may need to
relocate with my stepmom and brother, Chase,
to be closer to family so they can have support
as well. Any donations will go to medical bills,
rehabilitation, rent and groceries for his family.
Sadly, Brian’s business will no longer be able to
operate and every dollar will go towards helping his family navigate their new life.
