On the evening of November 15th, Brian “Hammer” Hampton was having an awesome time with family and friends, barbecuing and having a bonfire.
Who would have expected that the next day, November 16th, Brian would be admitted to the hospital with signs of a possible stroke.
That was the least of what was to come.
Brian suffered not just an aneurysm, but it had ruptured.
After further testing Brian was airlifted from San Luis Obispo, CA to Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara.
It was there, that Brian had to have unexpected emergency surgery for his ruptured brain aneurysm.
To save his life, Brian was placed in a medically induced coma until the brain swelling comes down.
Brian will be in the hospital for at least a month.
At this time, we do not know how the ruptured aneurysm will have affected Brian’s speech and motor skills.
It is going to be a long road for Brian, Nicole, and their families.
Ruptures occur in about 30,000 people in the U.S. each year, and 40 percent of those cases result in death within 24 hours.
This shows that Brian is strong and a fighter.
He will get through this.
But Brian and Nicole need your help.
