If you have ever watched a Miami Heat game or any NFL/College football games these last 25+ years, you likely have seen Brent Cohen in action. For someone who has given us so many thrills to cheer for, we have an opportunity to be able to give back to someone we care about.

Back on April 15, Brent was experiencing some stomach pains, so he went to the hospital where they told him he had to have emergency appendix surgery. While doing the surgery, they discovered he had become septic and he was placed into a medically-induced coma for two weeks. He is now in the ICU unit and will still have to go to rehab following this hospital stay.

By the time he is through with this stay and rehab, he will likely have been out of work for three months, and as a freelancer and independent business owner, this has caused a strain on his finances due to the expected hospital bills and no income. In fact, prior to this, he was scheduled to be working the NBA Playoffs.
