Help Support Brendens Recovery from Brain Surgery
Donation protected
I would like to introduce you to a special young man I’m proud to call my cousin. This is Brenden, he is 6 years old and suffers from a rare disease called SynGap 1. SynGap 1 is a genetic condition that causes seizures and also other physical disabilities that prevent Brenden from living a good quality of life. Brenden suffers approximately 200 seizures a day. This amazing family tirelessly fundraises to help fund research for this rare condition. Today they need our help. Brenden is undergoing brain surgery at Sick Kids in Toronto at the end of June or early July. No confirmed date as of yet. This surgery will not cure Brenden's seizures but hopefully will give him a better quality of life. The Ronald McDonald House has been contacted and the family cannot request accommodations in advance. Once the surgery date is set the family calls 24 hrs in advance in hopes there will be room for them. Unfortunately, there are no guarantees that the Dallen family will be able to get a spot. Brenden's stay in the hospital will be approximately 10 days. The funds raised for Brenden will allow his parents Blane and Ashley and his little brother Nathan to stay in Toronto close to The Sick Children’s Hospital. They will be able to give their little man the love, support, and nurturing he deserves to help him heal. Please join me in raising funds for this incredible family!
